The Stoiber’s (Brian and Bridget) traveled for the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  They traveled with their 3 young adult children and 2 young children (7 yr old boy and 11 yr old girl).

Bridget would love to run another race.

They attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  While the night was one of the favorite memories of the trip because they were there as a family, they really didn’t get to enjoy party activities and wouldn’t do it in the future.

Favorite rides on this vacation were Seven Dwarfs Mine train and the Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom and Soarin over at EPCOT.

Things mentioned they would do differently is to : get the Disney Dining Plan, stay more nights, and look into having groceries delivered.  We have a blog post on our website about grocery delivery.

The children did go over to the Universal Orlando Resort to see the Harry Potter areas.  Many people do not know that Universal sells 1 day park hopper tickets that include transportation from the Orlando area (Disney resorts included).  Depending on your party size it may be cheaper to purchase regular tickets and then hire a taxi or other transportation separately.  Ryan can help you decide  the best option to include in your vacation plans.

They stayed at the All Star Movies Resort for 5 nights the first week of November.  Bridget loved the resort and thought it was perfect for their group since they were in the room very little.  They enjoyed having the refillable mugs and eating from the food court.

The reason for the trip was that Brian and Bridget ran the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  They loved the race and the race weekend.  Brian and their younger daughter also ran the Jingle Jungle 5k.
